I must admit I have the greatest friends. My crazy, since 5th grade best friend; my crazy, since sophmore year of college best friend - hmm... seems these ladies have something in common, the crazy!
Last weekend my amazing amazing bestest (Ica) met me outside of Baltimore for a sort of spontaneous shopping day. And it was much needed, for both of us! I can't think I could have that much fun in Ikea and at lunch with just anyone - but we had a fantastic time. It also helped me come to the realization that while I may have enjoyed spending my "down time" on the couch in my living room, it was much more rewarding to hop in the car and meet her. And you know what, we need to do it more often! It's less than an hour and a half for each of us to meet in Baltimore, which is way way way easier than either one of us driving the whole way. So, mission for the summer - meet in Baltimore more often!
Now, as for that college best friend (Twin) - her crazy self is driving 7 (yes people 7) hours to come visit Kevin and I this weekend! I would like to think that she's coming just to see me, but I know she loves my husband, and all of our parents, so I'm sure they have something to do with it too!
